At Opal Tallow Co., we take great pride in handcrafting each product with care, using only the highest quality ingredients. Our goal is for every balm to feel like a gift to your skin.
Because our products are made in small batches with unrefined, natural ingredients, texture, scent, and consistency may vary slightly from jar to jar—this is part of what makes each one unique.

Refunds
While we do not accept physical returns at this time due to the nature of our skincare products and our scale as a small business, we’re happy to offer partial refunds or store credit on a case-by-case basis if your experience falls short of expectations.
Requests must be made within 14 days of delivery.
Product Settling & Re-Whipping
Because we avoid fillers, stabilizers, and synthetic waxes, your balm may shift in texture during transit—especially in extreme heat or cold. Rest assured, it’s still safe and effective to use!
If your balm feels melted, separated, or less fluffy than expected, here’s how to restore it:
Re-Whipping Instructions:

Scoop the contents of your jar into an oven-safe or double boiler-safe bowl.

Gently melt over low heat until just liquified. Stir to ensure it’s fully smooth.

Remove from heat and allow to cool to room temperature (you can place it in the fridge briefly to speed this up).

Once soft and opaque, whip using a hand mixer for 3–5 minutes until light and airy.

Spoon it back into your jar and enjoy your revitalized balm!
